Bid from what cars like it actually sold for.
Every estimate shows the comparable sold lots behind it, and turns them into a bid range you can act on.
Comparable lots in, a bid range out.
Match on what changes price
Same make and model, the closest years, then model code, grade and mileage. The sheet read fills in what the listing leaves out.
Use sold results only
Start prices and unsold lots aren’t counted. The comps behind each range are listed, so you can judge them yourself.
Suggest a range, not a number
Every range comes with a confidence level, so thin comps are obvious. You set the bid.
Why real sold prices, not a formula
JDM auction prices move with season, grade and demand. A rule of thumb from last year will under- or over-bid. The honest guide is what comparable cars went for recently — so that’s what it’s built on.
Pricing guidance questions
Where do the sold prices come from?+
From results posted on the auction sites you search through JapanCarDirect, JDM Auc and Pacific Coast JDM. Every sold price the app sees on a lot page is recorded and used as a comp.
Does it include fees and shipping?+
No — it’s hammer price only. Your actual landed cost comes from your paperwork, on the landed cost page.
